Sutton Coldfield Carnival is delighted to be teaming up with The Academy of Music and Sound Birmingham for a second successful year as sponsors of The Sunday Afternoon Laze Music Festival.  They offer courses in music performance and music production at BTEC and Foundation Degree level, as well as short courses and one-to-one lessons, open to people of all abilities.

Located in Birmingham City Centre, a short walk from Snow Hill train station, Students from The Academy of Music and Sound Birmingham will be performing alongside the best local talent on the main stage of the Sutton Coldfield Carnival 2014. They will also be running an incredible interactive percussion workshop, open to everyone, during the carnival. Staff will be on hand to answer questions about learning opportunities and private tuition.

Centre Manager David McGrain said:

“A big thank you, to everyone who came along to support us in the sunshine at Sutton Coldfield Carnival last year. Credit to all of the Students, who did a great job of performing in front of an enthusiastic crowd. We’re delighted to be joining forces with Sutton Coldfield Carnival again. This year’s music event should be even bigger and better – I know we have some incredibly gifted musicians lined-up to play alongside some great local performers.”
